FC Dynamo Brest is a Belarussian football club from Brest, the participant of all sovereign Belarussian football championships.

The club was founded in 1960 under the name Spartak and was immediately included into Soviet Second League. Two years later, after reorganization of the championship, the club had been taking participation in the Third League until 1969, when the team achieved promotion. In 1972, Spartak Brest was renamed into Bug, and 4 years later – into Dynamo. From 1970 and until the collapse of USSR, the Brest team participated in the Third League of USSR championship. During all the Soviet Period, Dynamo Brest had firm connections with the clubmates from Minsk, as the two clubs were under the patronage of Sporting Society Dinamo.

In 1992 Dynamo Brest became one of the participants of the first sovereign championship of the Republic of Belarus. Now our club is one of the four teams (together with Dinamo Minsk, Shakhter and Neman) who never relegated from the Highest League. Dynamo’s greatest achievement in Belarussian championships is third place in 1992. In 2007, Dynamo Brest won Belarussian Cup, having overcome BATE Borisov in penalty encounter and qualified to UEFA Cup.
